Happy New Year 2007
Yahoo .... a whole new year, i love the start of a new year ... its so exciting - the promise of good times ahead - the chance to better myself as a person in every aspect of my life. Make new goals and plans for myself and my family ... i love that!
We had a wonderful night ... it was such good fun
. Great friends, awesome food (a 3 course dinner .... sensational) the kids had such a ball, they did bubbles, swam in the pool, lit sparklers, popped party poppers, played with rocket balloons ..... they were awesome. They had a countdown at 9pm (NZ countdown time of course)then went off to bed, so the parents could play "SING STAR" .... oh i am in love with that game! It was seriously hilirious .... if you haven't played before, it rates how good or bad you sing, then tells you what type of singer you are, like an amatuer, a lead singer, tone deaf ....
we were belting them out .... i am NOT a good singer, but i was just going for it .... just lost in the moment. You actually feel like you are a rockstar. ... the photos tell a bit of the story! LOL! Needless to say we didn't get to bed till 3am .... we couldn't stop singing. So only about 3 hours sleep was banked before the kids woke ..... oh why do we do that to ourselves? You know what it was so worth it tho, i just had a the BEST time.

Sounds like a great way to celebrate New years!! I would be the tone deaf on that singing game, but I would still sing loud and proud! LOL. My little man just got up...8:20 am is "sleeping in" with him!! Here's to a great New Year!

happy new years chanal!!!! that game sounds like a ton of fun!!! i love to sing...we played games at a friends house all night. scattergories, catch phrase(love that one!!) taboo, and it was 3 am for us too and very tired today!!! looks like the kids all had fun and have i mentioned an ongoing jealousy over the pool??? LOL! have a great day...wishing you health, happiness, love, warmth, and prosperity in all your goals for the new year!
