lots of fun (relaxing too) ...

its sunday night, its been a busy weekend ... a busy week actually! I have had a lovely sunday ... a relaxing day, i am so thankful for that after such a busy week! I enjoyed lying in the sun on the sunlounger today - by the pool as the girls swam and finishing my book. I am not sure if any of you have read Water for Elephants, but its a great story ...i really enjoyed it! Its our bookclub book this month, and i am happy to say i have finished before time - yay! The girls and i went to church tonight ... it is so great for me to stop and reflect on my life and how i can better myself. Today he spoke about our conscience and how we really need to make an effort with our spirituality and listen to God's spirit speaking in our conscience ... it was good stuff.

so a little re-cap ... i had Enjoy Jewellery Preview on Friday, it was really fun and a successful day - and a great launch pad for my new venture! I am excited!

Then yesterday in between dropping the girls to and from dancing, i popped to the shopping centre and saw Trinny and Suzanna ... the famous english fashion girls, who are fabulous. I was soooooooooooooo lucky as it was a last minute decision, and i got a fabulous spot to see them. They were even giving out free chocolates ... perfect! They were very funny, and it was great to see them in the real ... they made over 6 or 8 ladies from the crowd, it was so fun to watch and i was glad to have gone.

I then had to pull together a mexican dinner party! We have a group of friends where we once a year each take turns to host a dinner party. it was our turn ... actually we didn't do ours last year ... how slack! so we were well overdue! It was very fun ... and YUM! I didn't get a good pic of the girls, so i will post that when i get one from one of the other girls! I didn't get very good photos at all ... sad! Do you love the moustaches Gary made from black velcro?

i made these birthday cards thru the week, one for my sister and i have a couple of friends who celebrated birthdays last week too!

love a sale ...

its a busy week for me, with the Jewellery Preview on Friday. Its all coming together nicely ... i have a huge "to do" list, but i am getting thu it and all is on schedule at this stage!

After school we headed to target to check out a camping table and chairs that was in the latest catalogue and ended up getting huge bargains for the girls. They were so excited ... and i was even happier as the prices were SOOOOOO cheap! gotta love target when they have a great sale. we got about 10 clothing items for $50 ... yahoo!

I have some more photos to share from my House Warming album. We did this as a class for Creative Cafe the girls albums turned out so cute! Our next class is an Easter class ... i can't share the details yet ... but it is going to be so fun!

The other morning when i was walking up our road from my morning run (its a steep little hill - i usually walk it!) there were some lorikeets in the trees up the street ... i raced in to get my camera as they were sittin in these gorgeous trees that were flowering yellow ... as i was trying to

photograph them a hot air balloon came over, it was such a gorgeous morning - it would have been stunning to be in the balloon! lucky people whoever you were ... then Daisy was playing with me, and i realised i hadn't snapped any pics of her for a while ... so here are some of those photos! Gi had a little friend to play on monday ... they were so cute, playing dress ups etc ...

i have been baking some yummy treats for friday ... the big temptation is to not eat it before then! lol!

i am ready for sleeping ... i have thought about blogging many times over the past couple of weeks (where did that go) and i just didn't get around to it!

After family movie night on friday night and home made pad thai (yum) it was into the dancing routine on saturday, before i took off to a Hen's long ladies lunch at Watt (a very delicious restaurant on the river) it was such a fun time, and i met some really fun girls - i can't wait for this wedding its going to be gorgeous! So i spent Saturday afternoon drinking bubbles and eating delicious food ... all a bit hard really! lol! I did make my friend a mini book to remember her special day, i found the wedding stationery so it all matches for her.

i did leave early (4pm he he) to go help our girls get ready for their Hawaiian disco at their dance school. It was soooooooooooooooooooo cute! Of course they had the BEST time! you can see Gi here in actioN!

We had a day trip to the lake today ... another fun family day. Emra got up on the disc and was doing 360's on the knee board, Katya took the strap off the skiis, I helped Gianna with the knee board ... Gary and I were wake skating, wake boarding, skiing and knee boarding .... (don't you love Gi's face in this photo - so funny!)

now you can understand why i'm yawning! he he!

exciting stuff ...

so i haven't been a very good blogger this week, after my excellent effort last week. BUT ... i do have some exciting news ... i have a new venture. When i was in China my biggest purchase was gorgeous jewellery! since coming back every time i wear a piece i have people asking me where i got it ... so i have decided to bring some in and sell it, so everyone else can enjoy the fun too ... hence ENJOY JEWELLERY. so please stop by and have a look, i would love your feedback - and if you have friends or family you think would love to buy ... then send them my way. I will have samples here next week which is very exciting, and i will be having a "showing" here for those interested!

you would have noticed that i did take the time to update my blog and jazz it up a bit with the new house of 3 blog couture backgrounds and banners. They are so cool and once i sorted it out ... i have to say its a little addictive. So i had to make Enjoy Jewellery funky too ...

I did have a moment of creativity yesterday, these photos have been sitting on my desk for a couple of weeks ... and all of a sudden i was urged to scrapbook them, using heidi's new invisibles ...

i have a magnet board in the hope of displaying new layouts, and it hasn't had much use .... so i am so excited there is a new peice up there!

also have done a couple more Q52 ... i am slowly catching up ... he he!

the girls had their swimming carnival at school yesterday, so i ended up doing a bit of time keeping up there (just to fill in for a bit) they had a ball ... and we celebrated their achievements last night with chocolate pudding! we were all really full after ... which hardly ever happens to Emra! loL!

so as promised some creative stuff ... firstly, March calender page ...

I have been working on this cool project, its from House of 3 and i got a license so i can teach it for my next Creative Cafe class. Its a really cool concept ... an album all about what makes your house a home ... so fun, i havebeen trying to capture some everyday photos to add to the album. There are so many possiblities and coolpages, i am really excited about it. you can see more pages on the Creative Cafe blog ... i will be adding more over the next couple of weeks!

Here also is Q5 ... i am planning on catching up this week! so that means more creativity!

We have our book club tonight, last months book was very draining, so i am looking forward to some interesting discussion tonight. This month we are reading Water for Elephants which i started today ... if anyone has any recommendations, leave a comment ... i would love to hear!

weekend fun photos ...

last weekend we ventured north west to a new lake (well we had not been there before) called Lake Borumba. It was a beautiful settting ... the trees come right down to the water ... stunning. The weather was perfect too ... we were super lucky.

after weeks and weeks of talking about it ... Emra learnt to ski ... we are all so proud of her, and of course she is a natural and is totally into it!

I got some great photos ... so will try and pump some scrapbooking pages out this week!

am hoping to post some creative stuff tomorrow ... see if i can keep on a roll! wink!
