you realise when school breaks up just how routine life is. Even tho the girls are doing ballet vacation school ... life totally revolves around getting to and from school, then homework, reading ... and then prepearing again for school the next day. I do wish the housework could just go on hold for the 2 weeks of holidays tho, that would be wonderful! alas ... that is not to be, and the best thing is that there are new, clean, fresh sheets on our bed ... i love that SO much! it makes me happy getting into a bed with clean sheets! i can hardly wait to go to bed ..lol!

The girls had their final dance competition on saturday .... i am happy we survived our first year of dance competitions ... it was an eye opener (for this girl who is not a very good dancing mother! lol) they love it so much, and they got 2nd for one of their dances and got a trophy - so exciting for them.

yesterday we made cupcakes, we were going to have a little high tea together, but we didn't get around to that (we will do that sometime this week) they had fun decorating the cupcakes ... as you can imagine there was sticky stuff everywhere! lots of finger licking going on! lol!

it was a gorgeous day, and we ended up at the park playing baseball (when i was in USA last year i got the cutest pink balls, and mitt ... perfect for our family - lucky gary is used to pink now!)

heidi did this cute layout on her blog last week, and as soon as i saw it i just knew i had to do a take of it in blue ... so here it is ... go see her one here.

our weather is so gorgeous at the moment, it totally makes monday so much lovelier when the sun is shining and making a stunning day.

I finished this banner for my new nephew's room last night ... i love the colour combinations ... its heidi's new paper! i couldn't wait to show Lisa already (on skype)

friday night we had a fund raiser at school - they hired out a movie theatre to watch Sex and the City. I didn't follow the series ... but the movie was fantastic, i laughed and cried, and laughed again ... the fashion was outstanding ... i really enjoyed it alot, i am going to see it again!

the girls had a birthday party at the park yesterday, so i took some photos for my friend, she had a clown there - she was awesome with the kids! the girls had such a fab time.

Its exciting around here, as our house is being rendered, they started last week on the back wall ... its going to look so different once its finished.

ok ... better keep moving, so much to still take care of ... first up put away the folded washing!

time flies ....

hi i'm back ... sorry for the break! i honestly don't know where the time has gone ... wow!

So its always a bummer when you leave it so long, as i have way too much to fill you in on ... and right now i'm way way too tired to remember it all!

The first big news is .... (drum roll!)

my sweet friend Heidi Swapp is coming down under for Christmas, and so i am helping her with the classes she will be teaching here in Brisbane and Melbourne ... its called Create 08 and you can find out more by emailing here at create08hks@gmail.com - let me tell you its going to be fabulous, so any Aussie or NZ girls wanting to come for a day of fun stay tuned as you don't want to miss this! Heidi will update her blog also as time goes on!

We had friends stay from Canada (the friends we met camping) it was so fun to get to know each other and learn about how they live in Alberta. You definitely live WAY differently to us (those canadian blogging friends i have) i am not sure i am cut out for your lifestyle ... i am way too soft! LOL!

we took the girls to a local fair yesterday, it was such fun! get a load of that fairy floss!

I have done some scrapbooking too ... in between the chaos! lol .... this is my calender page for this month.

so i have to sleep, my eyes are burning and i want to run in the morning!
