i gave birth to my first baby and became a mother! i can hardly believe its been 10 years ... where has that time gone? I have changed so much in this time ... motherhood has been one of the best things that ever happened to me ... i think back to when i was holding my sweet baby for the first time, and how much i really didn't know ... and 10 years on, i have learnt so much, and grown so much as a person ... its been such an incredible journey!Last night i got sentimental and made her a fold out card to make her 10 years ... so i found photos from day dot ... till now, to show the time line of each year of her life ... it turned out cute.
We celebrated today with a High School Musical themed party tonight ... with 19 girls. GASP!
It was really fun ... in my true organised style, i had it all planned out to the minute ... and it went right to plan. I set up a photography area so i could snap her with each of her guests ... as they arrived they checked in with mum - who punched their tickets, gave them name tags and extras.
Gary was in charge of the games from this point on ... then we served dinner, which was individual nachos and extras ...
she opened her gifts ... which was extremely fun and caused lots of excitement. (she was very lucky)
It was then birthday cake time ... (lucky i found the disposable plates ... really feeling blessed about that now!)
Everyone then piled upstairs to watch "Another Cinderella Story" ... its just new out and such a great movie. I was happy to watch it again ... so funny.
I feel tired now i've stopped ... i guess its been a busy day organising! i am so greatful mum is here, she has been a great help .... she made the day so much more enjoyable for me! thanks mum! here she is helping put all the nachos together ...
i had to snap this earlier today ... the little girls getting some makeup on in the bathroom ...
