My Life is Brilliant

holiday fun ....

the holidays are going so fast ... its such gorgeous weather, today is 33 degrees ... just stunning! it makes you want to get out and enjoy the day. Apart from lots of swimming in the pool, we went to the beach on tues and i went surfing for the first time since last summer (maybe May) it was so nice to get in the ocean ... i love it! such healthy outdoor fun. The waves were pretty small ... but perfect for my beginner stage of surfing. My friend Alicia who is a similar level came out too ... its fun to surf with someone else too! Kathy took these photos ... and now i am working on her getting lessons so we can go together .... I am starting a surfing journal to capture my progress and keep the fire alive! will post some pics once i get it done ... we have friends staying from NZ with their 2 kids, so we have lots going on ... good fun stuff. Marisa and I got out on our bikes for a ride this morning ... fun having someone else to exercise with!

I have been working on an art journal, so doing something creative every day ... its very fun, and now i want to do a zillion journals - LOL!

ok ... the girls want me to play hide and seek ... better run!

The Y2R art challenge came thru today, and i jumped on it straight away ... mainly cause its part of my calender and then i get to enjoy it for the WHOLE month. This month is all about TIME!
