My Life is Brilliant

friday ... yay!

so another friday rolls around - its seems to happen so fast! i do love fridays tho - i sort of feel like i can take a deep breath and just chill out a little. I overcame a massive lack of motivation this morning - you see here in sunny Qld its been raining all week - and honestly, it totally kills my motivation! I was telling gary this morning how i couldn't be bothered going swimming ... and he came straight back at me saying how he'd love to have the day off and be able to exercise ... WELL, it was just the mindset change i needed! and i did go (after helping ems in her classroom do her diorama) and actually didn't go too badly, considering i've had a couple of months off over winter. I am so glad now that i did go ... as this drizzly dreary weather totally makes you want to vege out and eat comfort food. I guess that is why we live here and not in NZ! chuckle!

so our classroom came thru last night for Y2R ... heidi based it around an art journal style of creating this month, we had to incorporate a heart, bird, flower and a hand. The hand is actually an indian mask they use for stencilling their hands (in native india) i first saw this on one of Ngaire's layouts she did ... it looked so fantastic and she told me all about them!

I have done a bit of scrapbooking this week ... yay! did this layout for my LSS monthly competition. Also a layout from our black and white dinner party we had earlier in the year. We have a group of friends and rotate around each others houses .... so this was our turn, and in true style i totally went over the top with themeing it! LOL!

last night i started a little mini album for our new Daisy ... we get her this afternoon ... so watch out for puppy photos soon

my favourite friday night thing right now is watching Jamie Oliver .... he inspires me to cook yummy scrummy food! it doesn't take much ... seen as my stomach is the major motivation! LOL!
